$5.00 Adult admission on Friday; Free Admission on Saturday and Sunday

Books range in price from $0.50 to $5.00, with a few exceptions

Over 20 dedicated volunteers work year-round to sort, organize, and price over 50,000 books, games, LPs, DVDs, sheet music and posters for our annual sale. This gently-used-book sale is one of the largest in Ontario and draws people in from far and wide. There are no restrictions on the number of books you can purchase, and with over 40 different categories there’s sure to be something for you! All proceeds go to the Elora Festival.

EFS book volunteers welcome your donations at the Fergus Book Depot: 380 St. Andrew St. W (side entrance). For pick up of large donations, and for additional information, please call the Festival Office at 519-846-0331. Please ensure that boxes are manageable. We suggest no larger than liquor-size boxes.

We Accept:

  • Hard and Soft Cover Books in Good Condition
  • CDs, Vinyl Records (33, 45, 78), Sheet music
  • Gardening Magazines, Craft Magazines
  • Ephemera
  • Pre 1960: National Geographic, Public School Text Books, Magazines

We Do Not Accept:

  • Encyclopedias
  • Harlequin Romance
  • Readers Digest Magazines
  • Readers Digest Condensed Books
  • Canadian Living, Chatelaine, or other weekly magazines

    We greatly appreciate donations of clean, gently used books, records, CD’s, DVD’s or paper ephemera. Our office AND Book Sale drop off have moved! Please drop off book donations in our NEW location (398 St. Andrew Street West Fergus. Drop Box Located on Maiden Lane on the West side of Cherry Hill Entertainment) starting June 1, 2013.Please ensure that books are in boxes or bags, and that they are manageable in size.     Yes! The donation is located at the door outside our location at 380 St. Andrews Street West/Side entrance. We take books at any time. The outside box is cleaned out daily. Thanks for your donations!
